01
National Parks Flyer
Programs:
Microsoft Word & Adobe Photoshop
Project Description:
This project was made with intentions to advertise the Every Kid in Park program put on by National Parks Service. I was instructed to choose one park and create a print ad to highlight the park and invite them to visit using the Every Kid in a Park program. I completed this ad using solely Microsoft Word.
02
PetSmart Print Ad
Programs:
Adobe Photoshop
Project Description:
For this project, we were prompted to choose a brand or product and create an advertisement surrounding our choice. We were told to base our ad on an existing campaign that our chosen company is running or has run in the past. We were also tasked with photographing our own images for placement in the ad and writing our own body copy. I decided to choose PetSmart ad and tie it into both a fall sales ad and a “happiness in-store” theme. I chose to take a picture of my own dog and use this in my advertisement. I used PetSmart’s branded colors in both the text, background, and photo on the ad.
03
Fix-It Flyer
Program:
Adobe InDesign
Project Description:
For this course project, students were tasked with fixing a poorly designed flier to make it more
visually appealing. I chose a restaurant-focused ad promoting Wine Wednesdays. In the top right corner you can see the poorly designed ad to start with.
04
Fix-It Flyer
Program:
Adobe InDesign
Project Description:
For this project, I was prompted to create a print ad for a dentistry professional with a location of practice change. A poorly designed flyer with the information was provided (small image) and our job was to restyle the information provided. Specific requirements included black and white only, use of the original image and graphic, as well as the provided body copy.
05
Event Flyer
Program:
Adobe Illustrator & Adobe InDesign
Project Description:
This project was a free reign advertisement in the form of a public invitation for a Mother’s Day brunch put on by Bellevue Yacht Club. All floral icons were built in Adobe Illustrator and the text and design layout was organized in Adobe InDesign.

Colleges for Conservation Ocean Litter Infographic
Program:
Canva
Project Description:
This campaign is a part of a semester-long fictional campaign conducted by a group of seven in my
WSU COMSTRAT 310 course. Similar to other courses, this campaign required my group to choose
a social issue and create a brand surrounding advocacy for the chosen issue. My group chose the
issue of ocean pollution and therefore decided to focus on ocean conservation, specifically targeted
at coastal college communities. We decided to label the non-profit Colleges for Conservation and
brand accordingly.
